In Division 8 East, the 1st XI posted a competitive 173/8 from their 40 overs against Ware CC. Contributions throughout the innings helped build a defendable total, with Anil Patel (37), Syed Aly (36 including a six), and Dhanushka Premasinghe (31) all providing key runs in the middle order. However, Ware chased the target down at Widford, reaching 176/4 in 34.1 overs to win by 6 wickets, despite disciplined spells from Philip MacMurdie (2-16) and Adam Price (3-27).
In Division 14 West, the 2nd XI produced a strong all-round performance to secure a 4-wicket win over Pinner CC 4th XI. Pinner were bowled out for 168, with Prashant Tripathi leading the attack (3-17), supported by MD Abdur Rahi (2-17) and Sanjay Sharma (2 wickets). In reply, Hatch End chased down the target with 169/6 from 38 overs, sealing a controlled run chase built on steady partnerships through the innings.
A competitive weekend overall, with the 2nd XI taking the points in a composed chase, while the 1st XI were left just short despite a solid batting effort.
